Finally I have something to show for myself. The problem with finishing is that I just sort of flit from half done mitt to half done mitt without much progress. I'll be sending these to my little sister tomorrow and she should get them by Valentine's Day with any luck. They remind me of her, pretty but warm and strong at the same time.
They are super easy to knit up and if it wasn't for my intrinsic inability to finish the second anything they would have been done long ago. They did need a fairly decent blocking to show the lace pattern but I love how you can see all the snow falling onto the trees. I should have used blocking wires (see the little bumps along the edges) but once you put them on they disappear entirely.
