    Do you ever feel done with something after you've knit it?  I get this feeling all the time with just about anything except for a sweater or mittens.  It's as if having finished whatever thing I've just worked on it's no loner mine.  This has landed me in a bit of trouble - too many shawls.
    The thing is objectively speaking I own lots of neck covering items and wear one everyday so a few more shouldn't be a problem.  However I never wear these, ever, and keeping anything that I don't use doesn't appeal to me.   So I've found someone to take them off my hands, friends are perfect for things like that, allowing for more shawl knitting without guilt.
    I also learned while packing these up that not only do I have a wearing of hand knits problem but a owning of odd stationary problem.  Can you see the paper clips pinning the care instructions on?  Yes, they are heart shaped.  I have no ordinary paper clips but special shapes abound.  What this says about me I'm not sure but I may have to invest in a box of the regular variety.
